How to rent a motorbike from Harley-Davidson® Authorized Rentals Cape Town
Enquiring and booking your rental bike:
- Select your desired motorcycle.
- Contact us directly or submit an enquiry online.
- Receive a formal quotation and a Client Information Form.
- Confirm your booking and submit your filled in Client Information Form along with a copy of your ID/ Passport and Driver’s License.
On collection of your rental motorcycle in Cape Town:
- Upon arrival to collect your bike, you will need to present your ID/Passport, Driver’s License, and Credit Card.
- We will make an imprint of your credit card for security purposes.
- Your credit card will be swiped for the deposit value of your rental, which will be held by your bank temporarily. This deposit amount does not leave your account and will be released back to you upon the bike’s return in good condition.
- Next, your card will be swiped again for the bike rental amount and any additional items you may choose to hire.
- Afterwards, the final rental contract/invoice will be signed.
- A comprehensive inspection of your rental bike will be conducted by both you and our representative.
- You’ll sign the inspection sheet to confirm the motorcycle’s condition as it’s handed over to you.
- Our representative will then provide detailed instructions on how your bike operates, including fuel type, and address any questions you may have.
- Once everything is confirmed, you’re ready to embark on your ride with your selected Harley-Davidson® Authorized Rental Bike.
What are the minimum requiements to rent a Harley-Davidson® in Cape Town?
When deciding to hire a motorbike with us, you will need to have the following documents available:
- A valid Identity document (ID) or passport
- A valid motorcycle drivers license
- A credit card (Master / Visa only)

A credit card will be required for the rental deposit. However, EFT is welcome for rental payments.
The highest octane fuel / gas available and must be Unleaded. Our representative will notify you should this change.
